1. Style summer inspired accessories around your home
Styling seasonal decorative accessories and ornaments is a really easy way to reflect the current season in your home. When selecting accessories, choose items you are drawn to that spark feelings of nostalgia or make you instantly think of the summer. Ornaments such as faux coral or sea snails make us think about the beautiful clear blue sea from our favourite holiday destination and evoke happy summertime memories.
2. Add a pop of colour
Summertime is when nature shows off all it's wonderful colours. Everything from the bright green leaves on the trees, the gorgeous lilac lavender and the stunning pink peonies. The one colour that is associated with summer the most though is yellow. Introducing hints of yellow around your home evokes feelings of happiness and positivity.
