A Morning at BBC Radio Merseyside

ree

I had the exciting opportunity to join Sean Styles on BBC Radio Merseyside for a live interview to share a little more about my journey with Nuco Home. It was one of those pinch-me moments, sitting in the studio, reflecting on where this all began and where it’s going.

When Sean asked about my back story, I shared how Nuco Home really started from a love of interiors and styling. For as long as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed pulling a space together and making a house feel like home. Friends and family would often ask me to help create the calm, neutral look they admired but weren’t sure how to achieve. I realised there was a gap, people wanted beautiful pieces but didn’t always know where to find them or how to bring everything together.

That’s how Nuco Home was born. My vision has always been to make beautiful living simple, helping people style their homes with ease, whether they feel confident with interiors or not. Our curated bundles, vases and faux flower arrangements are designed to take away the guesswork so you can recreate the look you love in just one click.

Sean and I also talked about what running the business looks like behind the scenes. From sourcing products and designing collections, to packing orders and chatting with customers, no two days are ever the same. I shared how much I still get excited each time an order comes in – that feeling never fades. Of course, there are challenges too (like any small business), but the support from family, friends, and our lovely customers makes it all worthwhile.

Right now, Nuco Home is continuing to grow. We’ve recently moved into a warehouse, expanded our collection, and are working on new ideas for the months ahead. It felt special to be able to share all of this on local radio – and to celebrate how far Nuco has come in just a couple of years.

If you’d like to listen back to the interview, you can find it on BBC Sounds (I’m about 1hr 30 mins in).

Thank you again to Sean and the team at BBC Radio Merseyside for having me – it was such a memorable experience, and I’m excited for what’s still to come.
