
Born out of a love of home...
Nuco Home started in 2022, not with a business plan, but with a genuine passion for interiors and a deep belief that the right pieces can completely transform how a home feels. I've always loved making our home feel like somewhere special, and over the years friends and family started noticing and asking how I'd put things together, or whether I could help them style a space of their own. That desire to help people create a home they truly love, and a frustration that it felt harder than it should be, became the foundation for everything Nuco is.

Starting from the garage...
We launched from a converted garage, just me, a lot of stock, and a very clear picture of what I wanted Nuco to be. I had no background in e-commerce and no experience in interior design, but I had incredibly high standards and a passion for curating products I genuinely loved. Every piece was chosen because it earned its place, and every order went out with real care and attention. That hasn't changed.

The business started to grow...
The early days were everything at once - exciting and exhausting. I packed every single order myself, and then slowly, as word spread and demand grew, family and friends started coming to help when needed. I still remember our biggest ever sales day, when the demand was so high we asked family to help get every order packed and out the door in time. Those days felt very special, and reminded me exactly why I'd started.

A home of our own...
The stock outgrew the garage, then the spare room, then most of the house. By 2023 the business had grown to a point where we needed our own space, and we moved into a shared warehouse — a big moment at the time. But we outgrew that too, and in 2025 I secured the lease on our very own warehouse. Walking in on that first day felt surreal, three years of hard work, late nights and an enormous amount of love for this brand, all leading to that moment. It still feels special every single day.

The part that matters most...
Running a business is never a straight line, and Nuco has had its brilliant periods and its genuinely challenging ones. I'd become a mum in 2020, so building a business from scratch while navigating those early years wasn't without its challenges, but it's also given Nuco a sense of purpose that goes beyond just running a business. What has never wavered is the care that goes into every single order. Every product is still personally chosen by me. If it wouldn't earn its place in my own home, it won't make it into yours. Every order still goes out with the same attention to detail as the very first one. The team is small, the standards are high, and the passion is real and I hope you can feel that when your order arrives.
