The Burgundy ranunculus stem has a deep wine-toned flower head with layers of soft petals, balanced by smaller buds and fresh green foliage.
The fuller bloom gives the stem plenty of presence, while the different stages of flower and bud make it feel varied and realistic. The burgundy colour works beautifully through autumn, adding depth to softer hydrangeas, eucalyptus and berry stems without making an arrangement feel too dark.
It also works well grouped with several stems on its own for a simple display, or mixed through a larger bouquet where the layered flower heads bring softness among more textured foliage and seed stems.
